On the 8th and 9th of April, the Carioca Medieval Fair took place in Rio de Janeiro

The Ahmadia Muslim Community of Brazil was represented at the Fair through Imam Ihtsham Ahmad Moman, who participated in both days.

I visited the biggest Christian University of Brazil located in Rio de Janeiro and participated the dialogue between Abrahamic religions that are celebrating their festivals, Easter (Christianity), Pesach (Judaism) and Ramadan for Muslims.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Humaniza Podcast in Rio de Janeiro and talk about Islam and the challenges we face in the society to end the Islamophobia.

We presented the Holy Quran to the main library of the city of Aparecida, which has a large collection of books. They did not have the copy of the Holy Quran.

I had an opportunity to attend an event organised by Belford Roxo Council, where I represented Islam Ahmadiyyat. We discussed about religious freedom and how to combat religious intolerance.

On Children’s Day we had the opportunity to participate in the event held by the NGO AACS. They assists children with disabilities and promotes activities to improve their physical and psychological abilities.
Islam has always encouraged good treatment and respect for children.
