During the visit of the Congolese minister in charge of the budget to Kalambo IITA station, the STEP RDC team presented the STEP IITA strategy which aims to involve young people in agriculture from an early age, through successful models of profitable agrobussiness activities.

End of the training on pig, chicken and rabbit breeding techniques organized by the IITA STEP team in favor of teachers from the WEZA institute. The teachers expressed their heartfelt thanks for all that DG Dr NTERANYA SANGINGA has done for their schools.

The young students at the EDAP / ISP institute in Bukavu have made remarkable progress in their agricultural entrepreneurship activities. The club of breeders of hens supervised by the STEP RDC team of IITA proceeded to the sale of their first production. Over 200 hens sold.
