In my capacity as Dean of the African Ambassadors to Sweden, I had the delight of welcoming the newest members of the Women African Ambassadors’ family at the Rwandan residence. We were pleased to welcome the Ambassadors of Namibia, Egypt, and the United Republic of Tanzania, and to brief them on our ongoing activities as we continue to strengthen cooperation and friendship among African women ambassadors in Sweden. I look forward to working together in the spirit of unity, solidarity, and mutual support.

Yes, those photos you’ve seen are real.
More than 18 years ago, a baby named Lamine Yamal and his mom Sheila met Lionel Messi at a UNICEF fundraising photoshoot.
Today, their achievements on the pitch inspire millions. Off the pitch, both Messi and Lamine Yamal use their voices and platforms as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors to support and advocate for children around the world.
The goal? That every child survives, thrives, and fulfils their potential.
We are proud to have them on our team.

📍Sexual violence is declining in #Rwanda, according to the 2025 #RwandaDHS7 report.
This is a massive step forward, but the work doesn’t stop here. Every single case is still one too many.
➡️ Let’s keep pushing for a safer, violence-free future for everyone.

Dear friends, with acknowledgement that the International Day of Women in Diplomacy is June 24, as declared by the UNGA Resolution A/RES/76/269. In Uganda, our celebration comes early on Friday 19, 2026
We have 2 panel sessions, with the first set speaking to these great ladies;
I am here today because of peace: the peace my parents found when they fled war and built a life in a country that generously took them in.
For me, the UN Charter is not an abstract document. It is a lived experience.
That is why I am running to be the next UN Secretary-General. #newUN
Costa Rica has officially presented my candidacy for @UN Secretary-General.
I want to thank the President, government and people of Costa Rica 🇨🇷 for their trust & support.
I’ll work tirelessly to honour that trust and chart the course for a reformed UN. https://t.co/eo4miA9coe
