I thought they said Peter Obi is only trying to ruin the image of Nigeria when he speaks about the bad things happening in the country.
The fear of Trump is the beginning of truth.
We want action, not just words and empty promises.
We face challenges head-on and remain steadfast in our commitment to engage partners and champion Nigeria's interests on the diplomatic front. We are confidently asserting our presence on the global stage, guided by unwavering calm, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose.
We are indeed faced with terrorism - a challenge Nigeria has faced for almost two decades, and we will not back down. We will decisively defeat terrorism and claim victory in this battle. Security is non-negotiable, and we will never compromise on this principle. With unwavering courage and a steadfast commitment to the rule of law, we will prevail.
Nigeria is one united family. We rise together, move forward together, and reject despair in favour of determination. Our future is far more robust and stronger than any fears we may have.
The task ahead is immense, yet our resolve is even greater. We will continue to sustain and build on our reform gains and deliver a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
We will spare no effort and leave no stone unturned in our mission to eliminate criminals from our society. We urge our allies to stand firmly with us as we amplify our fight against terrorism. We have made significant progress in the past two years and we will decisively eliminate this threat.
With courage and the rule of law, we will triumph.
Nigeria will be, and remain a reliable partner and dependable ally to its friends and a steady voice for stability. We also welcome the collaboration and support of our allies, friends, and partners as we strengthen both security and economic growth.
To the brave men and women of our armed forces and intelligence community united by purpose, regardless of tribe or religion, who serve fearlessly, fight side-by-side and sometimes pay the ultimate price, we express our deepest gratitude. Your commitment is our strength in the fight against terror.

@Eros_lavande@WillieWinehouse@OtuMariam@Emarged Exactly.
If you're out in nature, things like mobile devices or electricity are important, but don't count more than nature itself.
You get cleaner air, more sunlight, reduced stress level, lesser screen light even and all the other benefits with nature.
Please, do not let your home become your cage. There is a specific kind of danger in staying behind closed doors when the world is waiting for you. It isn't just boredom; it is a slow fading of the self. When you linger in the silence for too long, your mind loses its sharpness, not because it is empty, but because it turns on itself.
Psychology calls this mental rumination, but it feels more like haunting your own life.
It is a misconception that this is laziness. It is rarely a physical refusal to move, but rather a profound, bone-deep exhaustion of the spirit. The world outside begins to look jagged and overwhelming. The idea of stepping out, even just to buy a bottle of water, feels like climbing a mountain. It feels safer to stay hidden.
So, you begin to drift. You get used to the numbness. You exist in the soft, artificial glow of your phone screen, watching other people live while the hours bleed into late nights. You fight silent battles in an empty room, telling yourself you are recharging.
But you are not resting. You are withering.
You are quietly draining your own vitality, letting the dust settle on your soul. We are creatures built for the sun, for movement, for the friction of connection. Your brain is starving for a spark. Without it, your thoughts spiral inward, digging a trench that gets deeper every day.
The longer you stay in the safety of the dark, the taller the walls become. Go out. Let the noise and the light remind you that you are still part of the living.
@Shedriari@PO_GrassRootM He supported it because it would save the country trillions that would have been used to better develop our infrastructure.
He's criticising the government now because they removed subsidy and there has been no noticeable development.
This is common knowledge.
those shop owners wey dey always add the address of their shop for their banner wey dey outside no know the kind help wey dem dey help people wey dey travel 😭🙏
@de_emperor7@HAHayatu Until they come to an agreement to frustrate the end users.
Competition or not, only when they operate with conscience andintegrity will the end users be spared.
Let me explain in plain English why every Nigerian industry and Government must start funding university researches.
Imagine your company wants innovation.
You hire 4 researchers.
You pay ₦1 million per month each.
That’s ₦4 million monthly
₦48 million yearly
For 4 brains.
Now pause.
With just ₦20–30 million as a research grant, you could engage:
• 20 PhDs
• 50 MSc students
• Multiple professors
• Labs + peer review
• Global validation
Inside a university.
More brains.
More ideas.
Less cost.
Better results.
This is why industries fund universities abroad.
Tesla doesn’t do all research alone.
Apple doesn’t.
Shell doesn’t.
Pfizer doesn’t.
They pay universities to think.
Universities produce:
• Patents
• Prototypes
• Breakthroughs
• Spin-off companies
Industries take the IP.
They scale it.
They make billions.
Everyone wins.
So why do foreign governments fund university research?
Because research = economic weapon.
The US funds universities →
Patents →
Companies →
Exports →
Global dominance.
China funds universities →
Factories →
Technology transfer →
World market control.
Germany funds universities →
Engineering breakthroughs →
Industrial supremacy.
Now compare Nigeria.
Our universities are idle.
Lecturers are broke.
Labs are empty.
Students are underused which pushed the to join cults.
Yet industries are crying:
“innovation no dey”
“foreign tech is expensive”
“we can’t compete globally”
How will you compete when you don’t invest in thinking?
We turned universities into glorified secondary schools.
No serious grants.
No serious research.
No serious industry collaboration.
This must change.
If Nigerian industries redirect even 10% of HR & R&D budgets to university research:
• Universities get busy
• Students become inventors
• Lecturers become innovators
• Industries get cheaper innovation
• Nigeria gets patents
• Nigeria gets relevance
This is not charity.
It’s smart capitalism.
No serious country develops without industry-driven university research.
Until Nigerian industries wake up,
we will keep importing ideas
and exporting our talents and future.
@debora36416@imole__olorun@DONJAZZY It's becoming too much honestly.
Goes to show why some celebrities don't honor such appeals from Nigerians.
Every 3hrs, DonJazzy is getting tagged for support just because he has responded to a few in the past.
They should allow him. Or better still, tag other celebrities.
@its_nikozie@baba_Omoloro@WhatsApp The algorithm brings the status updates of people you recently interacted with to the top.
Sadly, I've gotten used to it.
@novieverest You lie.
While this probably wouldn't have blown up to this proportion if it was done in Nigeria, people wouldn't have blamed the lady.
Burna boy have had this coming for a long time now.
Whether in Nigeria or not.
