I think she should stick with Auburn since that’s where Ajayi and Okon are, they speak well of their coach and Tharp just broke the world record, unless Coach Ken can’t coach girls/women
Miracle Ezechukwu 🇳🇬, who has shone at both the Commonwealth Games & World U20 Championships, is due to have visits at the University of Oregon & Texas A&M.
Ezechukwu committed to Auburn in November 2025.
@takjnr Exactly my point, mind you the AFN still hasn’t spoken on it, we still haven’t gotten verified information other than him (this isn’t a dig at his journalist integrity but to shed spotlight on nonchalant the AFN is about the situation)
@NaturalCal@Ike_Azubuike@DigitalDocMikey@MakingOfChamps@WorldAthletics are showing favouritism towards Jamaicans and Americans. They want the narrative of Maxwell vs Shanoya. They saw that Ezechukwu may be a threat in the final and robbed her of that opportunity. This is injustice & unfair. Gary Card was worse but he was reinstated
@Coach_abdul_ I’m interested in track & field and I’d like to be able to start and possibly represent Nigeria internationally, but I’m 18 already so I fear I might be too late, do you have any advice for me or do you still think it’s possible for me to get there ?
@MrJoyoung I think the frustration with the AFN is fair considering their track record, but you just recently broke the news to the public yourself after much deliberation, the AFN should’ve made the protest public to encourage support and shed more spotlight on the case
@MrJoyoung This is a situation where a competent federation @TheAFN_ should’ve gone to war with the World Athletics over d double standards. Call a presser: put the World Athletics on the defensive and make explain why the complaint for Card was upheld and the complaints for Miracle denied!
@WorldAthletics is afraid of Miracle Ezechukwu 🇳🇬 spoiling the USA 🇺🇲 / Jamaica 🇯🇲 party in the final. Miracle had the second fastest time in the semis but disqualified for the final
If this is the case, then the blame shouldn't go on AFN but the @WorldAthletics whose rules are not even for everyone.
If there's a basis for Gary Card being reinstated, especially when there's been successful appeals this year, why is Miracle's own different??
@MrJoyoung Then there’s clear partiality at play here, cos I don’t see why Jamaica’s Gary Card lane infringement was reinstated which was arguably worse than Miracle’s either that or something foul goes on behind the scenes #WorldAthleticsU20
@adeyemi_ameen@MrJoyoung When Jamaicans lodged a protest, everyone knew it was under review even the commentators, were just now getting word that the decision was even protested to begin with
