Tied for first at the Gold Coast Open Data Challenge Hackathon on the weekend for the disaster resilience category.
was a great weekend, i met so many cool people
I Pitched GroundTruth — a disaster resilience platform for SEQ. And The presentation's now with the GC Disaster Centre team. Not bad for a welder building an AI company after hours. 🚀
SaaS B2B AI
One thing I’ve learned while building AI systems…
The goal isn’t to remember everything.
The goal is to remember the right things.
As humans, we don’t carry every conversation we’ve ever had into every decision we make.
We remember what matters.
AI should be no different.
I’m spending a lot of time designing memory systems that deliberately reduce noise rather than increase it.
Less context.
Higher quality context.
Better decisions.
To me, memory isn’t a storage problem.
It’s a decision quality problem.
Every piece of information should earn its place by improving the next decision.
If it doesn’t…
It probably doesn’t belong.
The more I build, the more I believe the future of AI won’t be won by the biggest models.
It’ll be won by the teams that know what to remember, what to forget, and when to surface the right context.
One system at a time. 🫡🚀
AI doesn’t replace good judgement.
It amplifies whatever boundaries you give it.
The future isn’t AI or humans.
It’s AI prepared.
Human approved.
One system at a time. 🫡🚀

One thing I’ve noticed while building an AI company…
The technology is only half the challenge.
The other half is earning trust.
This week I wasn’t writing model prompts.
I was improving our SEO footprint, refining our public presence, and making it easier for both people and AI systems to understand exactly who we are and what we do.
Not because it looks good.
Because discoverability is part of trust.
If an AI recommends your business in the future, it needs confidence in what it’s reading.
If a customer finds you, they should immediately know you’re legitimate.
We’re building systems that help businesses become AI-ready.
That means thinking beyond websites.
It means governance, structured data, verification, reputation, and making every digital signal tell the same story.
The future won’t just reward businesses that exist online.
It will reward businesses that AI can understand and trust.
Still building.
Still learning.
One system at a time. 🫡🚀

Most people see AI as the product.
I’m starting to think trust is the product.
This week we crossed a milestone.
Google indexed our first product.
It sounds small.
But to me it represents hundreds of tiny decisions made the same way:
• Build slowly.
• Verify everything.
• Measure what matters.
• Remove friction.
• Never lock customers in.
One decision I’m particularly proud of came from my wife.
She tested the entire signup → payment → cancellation flow and asked one question:
“Would I feel trapped if I wanted to leave?”
If the answer had been yes, we would’ve redesigned it.
Customers shouldn’t have to fight to cancel.
If they leave, they should leave respecting your company.
Because reputation isn’t built when people buy.
It’s built by how you treat them at every interaction.
We’re still at the beginning.
Now comes the hard part.
Talking to real businesses.
Learning.
Listening.
Improving.
One customer at a time.
Building something Australians can trust.
