@EmbarkStudios
Dear Embark Studios Executive and Development Team,
I am writing as a supporter of ARC Raiders to respectfully request consideration for a PvE-only lobby option or a passive mode that allows players to opt out of PvP encounters.
There is a growing segment of players who are deeply drawn to the atmosphere, cooperative survival elements, environmental tension, and ARC combat—but who do not enjoy the PvP component, particularly being eliminated unexpectedly from behind or in otherwise non-hostile interactions. For many of these players, this significantly shortens play sessions and reduces long-term engagement.
If PvP could be turned off through a dedicated PvE-only environment or passive toggle, overall gameplay participation would increase substantially. Players who currently log off early, avoid higher-risk engagements, or hesitate to queue would likely remain active much longer. Increased session time directly supports stronger retention, higher player satisfaction, and greater long-term monetization potential.
Providing optional PvE access would not undermine competitive players; it would expand the audience and make the experience more accessible to those who want to engage primarily with the cooperative and environmental systems you’ve built.
Choice drives participation. Participation drives growth.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Seth Romanos
