Hello, Mr. Elon Musk.

I am an avid Tesla fan from Korea.

Korea is Tesla's third-largest global market, following the United States and China.

Koreans possess a high level of understanding of technology and are sensitive to trends.
Just like in the mobile era, Korea has served as a "testbed" for adopting and testing global trends most rapidly.

The same phenomenon is currently occurring at Tesla.

Many Koreans strongly desire Full Self-Driving (FSD).
In fact, the Model S and X recorded massive sales right up until their discontinuation, and currently, used car prices have surpassed new car prices.

The desire for FSD is that strong.
I believe that through the data Tesla possesses, we can clearly confirm the high demand in the Korean market and the willingness to purchase FSD.

However, the Korean government is significantly lagging behind in regulatory reform.

Compared to the efforts of the wise and intelligent Korean people, the legal and institutional frameworks for accommodating autonomous driving are developing very slowly.

According to Korean media reports today, Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving) has been classified as Level 3 and thus excluded from regulatory reform.

It is an ironic situation where Europe and China view FSD as Level 2 and are pushing for the introduction of FSD monitoring systems, whereas Korea classifies it as Level 3 and excludes it from regulatory reform.

Consequently, Tesla owners in Korea are expressing their outrage.

Due to the government's passive and exclusionary attitude, the introduction of FSD appears very difficult in the short term.

Currently, Tesla vehicles supplied to Korea are produced at the Shanghai Gigafactory.

Vehicles without FSD features are being supplied to comply with European regulations, but Korean consumers want vehicles equipped with FSD.

Many people are willing to purchase vehicles equipped with FSD, even if the price is slightly higher.

Therefore, we earnestly request:

Please export Tesla vehicles produced in the United States (at the Fremont Gigafactory or the Texas Gigafactory) to Korea.
If Tesla demand in the U.S. remains somewhat sluggish this year, diverting that volume to Korea would be a good choice.

While Tesla demand is exploding in Europe, Korea, Japan, and the ASEAN region, the expansion of the Shanghai Gigafactory alone is insufficient to meet all of this demand.

Even considering regional supply chains and logistics, I am confident that supplying U.S.-made models equipped with FSD (Full Self-Driving) to Korea will have a significant impact.

This is not merely a request for export.

If the Korean government delays the introduction of FSD, Tesla is playing another card to respect consumer choice.

Korean consumers genuinely love Tesla and its innovative technology and are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

If we respond to these consumer aspirations, the Korean market will become an even stronger base of loyal customers and a driving force for growth for Tesla.

I have faith in Elon Musk's determination and Tesla's swift execution.

I sincerely look forward to the day when we can drive Teslas equipped with FSD in Korea.
