As if I wasn’t inspired enough, I got to read this in the train. 😱💚🙌🏼. Thanks to @TUMInitiative@WomenMobilize for continuing opening doors and empowering women.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!🙏
We walk away from the #TUMI2023 Conference on #FeministVoicesInTransport full of inspiration.
One thing became clear: When it comes to something as impactful as safe and free daily movement, it seems there is never enough time to speak!

Riding the @DARTMwendokasi, arguably one of Africas best public transport systems 🇹🇿! The DART carries 200k ppl a day (27 BRT stations/ 210 buses) and is continuously expanding its services
“We don’t need any uncertainty around what is the best direction for public transport. We know the answers, we have seen all the studies, so let’s now go into actions in #cities.”
💬 @IllgenInsa, Project Director Sustainable Mobility/TUMIVolt @giz_gmbh at #TTDC23
Excited for the first day of Transforming Transportation #TTDC23 - good to be back to freezing Washington. Say hi when you are around @WBG_Transport @TUMInitiative@WRIRossCities
Feminism can be complex, highly subjective, and sometimes even messy. „Some people would recoil, seeing it as a term for radical bra burners looking to smash the patriarchy.” (@mbruntlett) Find our special edition of Remarkable Feminist Voices in Transport https://t.co/ApX6tFTHK4
"[Feminism in Mobility] is not about painting our buses pink. It's about undoing the years of women not being on the table of decision making." - @Anuela#WomenMobilizeWomen#FeministTransport
📢 Call for nominations: What does feminist policy in transport mean to you?
We are looking for leading #FeministVoicesInTransport, people who lead teams; create change on the ground and advocate for more inclusive, affordable & efficient services. All genders welcome!

Learning from LAMATA and many other ambitious african changemakers on their e-mobility plans at the @TUMInitiative E-Bus Mission City Dialogue #SMDC2022
This BRT is urgently needed. Which you might tell by the fact that we needed police escort to avoid being stuck in traffic on the way to the BRT construction side
The BRT will have a total length of 18.3km of reserved lanes between Dakar and Guédiawaye serving 23 stations with a travel time expected to be reduced by half (from 90’ to 45’) and aiming at carrying 300,000 passengers per day
Hello Senegal 🇸🇳! Meet @AriadneBaskin and myself at this years #SMDC2022 in Dakar. Either at the @TUMInitiative EBus Mission City Dialogue and the @MobiliseCity full day session - happy to see you in person 💯
