One need only read the first chapter to understand the desease that is Americanism/Conservatism—a picking and choosing from the same fountain of liberalism. E.g.
——————————————-
—->to attract the masses of people to ones party for the purpose of crushing another with authority. This task is rendered easier if the opponent has himself been infected with the idea of freedom, so-called liberalism, and for the sake of an idea, is willing to yield some of his power.
—-> because the blind might of a nation cannot for one single day exist without guidance and the new authority merely fits into place of the old already weakened by liberalism.
—-> In our day the power which has replaced that of rulers who were liberal is the power of Gold.
—-> in any state in which there is a bad organization of authority, an impersonality of laws and the rulers who have lost their personality amid the flood of rights ever multiplying out of liberalism, I find a new right-
—-> to reconstruct all institutions and to become the sovereign lord of those who have left us the rights of their power by laying them down voluntarily in their liberalism.
A people left to itself i.e. to upstarts from its midsts, brings itself to ruin by party dissensions excited by the pursuit of power, honors and the disordering deriving therefrom. IS it possible for the masses of people calmly and without petty jealousies to form judgments, to deal with the affairs of the country which cannot be mixed up with personal interests? Can they defend themselves from an external foe?
It is unthinkable, for a plan broken up into as many parts as there are heads in the mob, loses all homogeneity and thereby becomes unintelligible and impossible of execution.
@CoreyJMahler What of big daddy government or our financial overloads? Those who compel gender quotas, protect their “right” to murder and be whores, etc? Surely there is none more entrenched and reliant on these “men” than the empowered woman.
@darwintojesus Thats because its liberal hogwash. Who’s to say they are not precisely as intended? E.g. Have we never any enemies? Does God make mistakes such that we might call things unintended?
No. People are precisely who they are—not what man wishes them to be.
@Jakeesposito22 The liberal disease of Americans runs too deep I’m afraid. The virus will kill the host long before they’re capable of destroying—what effectively is—their entire identity.
@ReaderJustus Imagine a modern movie making you question anything but the narrative itself., please.
This does not happen and it’s precisely why I’ve not watched anything new in 10+ years.
