New blog: Fur, feather & fin: an entry I sent to @TheFieldmag's nature-writing #competition. Martin the river keeper's musings on mole 'ills, Great Bustards, & fish impacted by #climatechange. Written phonetically in Martin's #Cotswolds#Wiltshire accent. https://t.co/PEDlEoWLtz
I've been fortunate to be very busy the last couple of weeks completing (just about!) all the #illustrations for 2 fantastic new #childrensbooks due to be #published in the near future (2 wildly different subjects but a load of fun)
Very excited to be interviewed on BBC Radio #Wiltshire with James Thomas tomorrow evening where I'll be chatting about my illustration journey so far. #Salisbury#Swindon
I haven't had to do much #PublicSpeaking before but am proud to have stepped up & introduced my new book, Unbelievable! A Working Country Life. The audience seemed happy, which made me delighted (and relieved). Hooray! #publishing#countryside#WritingCommunity
Lovely local: in #publishing my book, I've tried to use #local#Wiltshire biz's wherever I can: @RiversidePSL, @Illustration_AC, WessexPrintCentre. All brilliant! I've hired a local heritage centre for the launch on Monday, & contacting local bookshops to see if they'll stock it!
Hi Twitter friends, I'm looking for a few more advanced copy readers of my book before publication March 20. It's a humorous illustrated biography of a country chap (a river keeper called Martin), told phonetically in his Cotswolds-Wiltshire accent. Pls let me know if interested!
Really thrilled to have my artwork in the #FestivalofCats at @CrumpsBarn in Cirencester. Please pay a visit and see the exhibition as well as the fabulous books and gifts they have in their shop.
Just a few moments left of 2022 and I've finally popped together a few images for #artvsartist2022 Here's to a prosperous 2023 for one and all! #happynewyear
Best Christmas card ever!🎄A hand-drawn & painted, personalised card from the brilliant illustrator of my book, Alex Crump @Illustration_AC. A scene from The Mill, with our lovely shepherd's hut by the river, used by visiting fishermen between Apr & Sept. #fishing#gonefishing 🎣
Something a little different for the festive season! #Krampus. While #stnicholas rewards nice children by leaving presents, Krampus deals with those that are naughty. #illustration#christmas
