I've used matte screen protectors on my iPhone and yes it does give it a haze, but I ended up liking the way the screen looked. The only thing better was the beautiful anti reflective coating on s25 ultra and now Pura 90s pro max. My biggest issue with the matte was it was harder to wipe clean.
There’s no such thing as providing “raw oled”. The tech behind the flexible tech started ages ago.
You’re the one who stated to the guy that it wasn’t true. I was highlighting that yes there is Samsung tech involved.
Yes Apple improved upon it. Even Oppo did a better job than Samsung in the crease.
I really don’t know why extreme fanboys are so obsessed with some brands. The multi-billion dollar company doesn’t care about you. You should be demanding the best from a company in exchange for your money.
Sensors come from sony, screens and ram come from Samsung, modems come from Qualcomm, WiFi comes from Broadcom, and the list goes on.
You can love Apple and understand the screen comes from Samsung. A fact is a fact.
What has always made Apple great is their attention to detail, their software tuning and them knowing how to make the most of the hardware that other companies make. Sometimes even better than those companies know how to use themselves.
@_prophet_futu@mansaMkenya To be a critical component of a display is the actual screen. Remove that and you have a pretty window.
You seem to think that saying Samsung created the screen takes away from Apple’s engineering. You are connected to unrelated things.
Three of those layers are glue…
You would think the most important part of a display is the actual screen.
This does not take away from the amazing engineering of Apple.
I can give you an egg and a chef an egg, it’s how you cook it that makes it great.
The matte display solves one issue but introduces a contrast issue for example. For me I’m happy to accept a matte screen and sacrifice contrast.
@_prophet_futu@mansaMkenya I’m not sure why you enjoy kissing Apple butt. Samsung, Apple, or any other company does not care about you or me. And I say this as an Apple fan with one of the biggest Apple collections in the region.
Also to highlight the 10 layers you talk about
3 of those layers are glue.
@_prophet_futu@mansaMkenya No argument on own hinge engineering or software calibration. The subject is the hardware of the screen, which includes Samsung’s engineering and technology.
@anhmd10@Apple Sadly not the case.
Tried both added and captured. And if I enter LinkedIn and adding an image it does not change the order. It defaults to when created.
Dear @Apple when I saw an image right now and go to upload it on a social platform, please give us an option to see what I just saved. Scrolling around to find it because it’s showing me when it was created chronologically (when I don’t even know if it was done) wastes so much time.
