With indie game history people kinda act like it only popped into existence in the late 2000s or maybe if you're lucky they might mention Cave Story's existence but there's hundreds of thousands of small titles that release on PC from nerds in their bedroom

It's a shame that in the realm of video game history as well as indie game history, the entire PC market is almost completely disregarded like it never existed. Despite the fact that it's given birth to some of the biggest franchises and genres.
