@thewhostellout People are using the wrong word; "fetish". it's bastardization. Sexual fetish has always been a thing in goth culture. It's the fetish more in taking something and turning it into a costume, a joke. Like they're cosplaying us.

@softlxnar I blame the fetishization of the culture. I don't mean sexually, though that is also a problem, too. The fact that people felt akin to the style, the ideal and the music and were harrassed, bullied and killed for it. Now now it's plastered on every hoe who hated us to begin with.
