I mean, the community is going to do, and say what's on it's mind. The community isn't a "problem". The community not knowing how developments or dev-processes work isn't the community's problem either. I understand where people are coming from. My message wasn't really constructed as a criticism against anyone in particular, more a general observation of how things are.
When I say "communication is a minefield" I mean that it can be, not necessarily that it is. There are so many factors involved with Tarkov that I do understand why and what they're doing. I think BSG are at a point where very few things they say will please anyone at this stage. I think they're in that period where it probably is best to focus on actions rather than words. Saying "we're aware of the issues with X, Y and are working on it" within the context isn't pleasing anyone until it's solved. The proof is in the pudding so to speak.
BSG are acutely aware of the importance of resolving some lingering issues. They have eyes everywhere informing them, from emissaries, sherpas, community reps & managers, heck even most devs read most of the things and redirect what's going on to those who aren't reading it directly.
Since 2 years back I have no insight, idea or details on what's been going on. Once I was out, I was out. I said hello to Nikita & the team in person at GamesCom last year, and chat once in a blue moon with a few of the old emissaries, so I really have no detailed insight.
But I'll say this: I think there's a good reason why they're doing what they're doing. And we can leave it at that.
