Setting aside some time today and tomorrow to trial indie games.

I hope everyone’s had an awesome weekend and a productive Monday!
Currently looking for my next midnight session
What horror games have got you shaking under your covers at night? 👻
@BreezyBrisaVt Currently on with Valheim, Vrising and phasma!
There’s so many games that look awesome that are either coming out or have launched so far this year though, makes game picking so hard😩
Just played Duck Fest, the demo requested by the dev @simanezumi1989 — genuinely impressive amount of detail for a demo.
Loved the variety and complexity in the card abilities, real depth to dig into here, especially for a demo!

It’s a classic 'one more run' trap. You go in expecting 30 minutes, come out having sunk hours trying to build the most broken setup possible. That's usually the sign of a good roguelike foundation and a sign of what’s yet to come,
Overall I really enjoyed my time, thankyou for the suggestion!
Just wrapped up Scopa Sweep, the short demo requested by @staticfiregames — simple concept, but that's exactly what makes it work.
If you know traditional Scopa (the classic Italian card game), this puts a great roguelike spin on it.

Currently just the one deck, but with a solid handful of boosting tools, card enhancements, and boss rulings already in place. Plenty to experiment with even at this early stage.
It’s graphically simple yet satisfying with an upbeat audio track that’s pleasant to listen to.
Only critique — a few cards felt a bit flat in comparison, ended up just being 'dump' cards with no unique ability (looking at you, card 6 😅). Small thing though, doesn't take away from how solid this already is and it’s possible it is just a placeholder for now.
Pixel art and the retro-styled music were a real highlight too, lively and full of character in a way that made the whole thing feel cohesive.
You can tell there's been genuine care put into the small details and mechanics the kind of stuff that easily gets overlooked in demos.

I also spent all my credits down at the noodle bar as I kept getting whooped haha!
Would love to see this concept get built out further, the foundation is already solid. Overall really enjoyed the atmosphere and it's definitely one to keep an eye on. 👀
Just wrapped up trying VisualHacker by @AdaluteGames and had a genuinely fun time with it.
The hacking mini-games are a great concept, simple to pick up but with real room to expand. You can tell there's a clear solid vision behind where this is headed.

Took some time to play the demo for The InBetween and honestly, I really enjoyed it.
The hand-drawn art has a really simple charm to it, the platforming is fun once you get your bearings, and the soundtrack fits the world perfectly.
Definitely worth checking out.

Loving the unit variety too (Wizards, Artillerists, scholars all playing together nicely) and the prestige system already adding real strategic depth for something still this early.
Excited to see where this goes and an impressive demo!
PS left you some feedback on your forms :P
Trying out Fireworks Incremental by @FrajdaGames and genuinely impressed for how early it is in development.
The pixel art + retro CRT toggle gives it a modernised old-school feel, and the audio pulls you right in.
Solo dev project, worth a wishlist 👀
