@LordJohnWGrey Marchal gets to work and it's not a pleasant thing to see. His ways of questioning and getting his questions answered are systematic but cruel.
@LordJohnWGrey Marchal keeps a firm hand on the man with the knife. In a calm but firm voice he tells him to not make a scene as he nods to John to follow him.
@LordJohnWGrey But John wasn't alone. There were people around that kept a close eye on him, including Marchal, who has used the capture as a decoy to lure out the true person behind all this.
@LordJohnWGrey "No. Stay here for now."
This wasn't it. This wasn't who they were looking for and he knows it. But... having that man in his hands now he suspects the actual person behind this to get nervous and that's what he is looking for.
@LordJohnWGrey The young man nods and engages the Lord into a talk as if to distract him. Marchal steps closer and closer till he's next to John.
"Please come with me", he states to the young man as he makes a gesture to the door.
@LordJohnWGrey His eyes scan the room and the people in it. He was careful not to show that he knew there was a traitor present. Every little move made in the room he takes note of.
@LordJohnWGrey Marchal lets the Lord enter the room. He remains at the door till the last person is inside and then closes the door from the inside, standing in front of the door as usual to observe the meal.
@LordJohnWGrey Marchal, as usual, stands by the door, eyeing every person that enters the room to join the King for dinner. He knows who is supposed to be here and who isn't. He gives a little nod to the English man and lets him in.
@LordJohnWGrey Marchal knows every single one of his men. He has picked them himself. They were loyal and good in their job. He would leave two of his best with the English Lord.
