This is disgusting, and Doug Ford does not get to shrug it off.
Spying on a woman who is one of your political opponents on her private vacation is creepy Trump-style politics that has no place here.
Women already face enough barriers in politics without this kind of behaviour.
Somebody signed off on that expense, and he knows exactly who. Heads need to roll.

Donald Trump just imposed a 50% tariff to increase YOUR COSTS because he felt that Canada didn't do enough to rake their forests.
How many tantrums from this failed president do Americans have to suffer through?
NEW: The Ontario Progressive Conservative caucus was given the green light to book hotel rooms in downtown Toronto at the taxpayer’s expense whenever night sittings were scheduled, Global News has learned, despite Premier Doug Ford’s repeated public assertion that the expenses were “unacceptable.”

U.S. soldiers were sent to die in the Middle East for Israel’s wars.
Meanwhile, the families of the people who pushed those wars are enjoying the World Cup from luxury seats.
The ruling class gets the view.
Ordinary families get the coffins.
The Canadian Air Force SAVED 11 teenagers from wildfires last week.
Donald Trump repaid Canada by threatening to impose tariffs on us.
This act of betrayal will not be forgotten.
Interesting to note that Premier Doug Ford claims Stan Cho made a "mistake."
But the "mistake" happened repeatedly over three years:
2023-24: $1,431 in Toronto accommodation
2024-25: $3,081 in Toronto accommodation
2025-26: $11,691 in Toronto accommodation
The "mistake" was also being repeatedly made by multiple PC MPPS to the overall tune of $120,000

Premier Doug Ford is now using a wildfire update news conference to bash his political opponents.
Ford is accusing other political parties of politicizing the money his government spends fighting fires. He calls it inaccurate and untruthful.
This is the first forest fire update the Ford government has held.

For those wondering why it's so hard to control remote wildfires in Canada, here are two maps which might help illustrate the problem. Let's call them: A) Where the people are; and B) Where the trees are.
In 2020, smoke from the California wildfires suffocated Canadian cities and towns. What did Canada do? Canada sent hundreds of firefighters, water bombers and other crews/equipment to support the US fire fighting efforts.
Same in 2025!
Canada is a good neighbour!
