After having driven for @Uber & @UberEats for over 10 years, I've officially taken my final trip/delivery for them earlier this month.
Over the course of the past decade, I've seen my average hourly pay drop from $35/hr back in 2015, down to $15/hr. Fuck you, Uber Inc. 👋

Well over 100,000 people have died from apartment building fires worldwide. A piece of safety equipment that ranges anywhere from $40 (ladder) - $400 (parachute) is very well worth the miniscule added costs of a life. This should be put on the owner of the building and/or unit.

Apartment buildings with 3-10 floors should be required to come equipped with a foldable rope ladder to reach the ground in case of a fire making hallway access not possible.

Skyscrapers with 11+ floors should be required to come equipped with simple but effective parachutes.
