Sunrise from orbit. 🌅
This was Vikram-1’s view as the Sun rose behind its Orbital Adjustment Module — moments after India’s first privately developed rocket delivered its payloads to their target orbit on its maiden flight.
The dawn of a new space era. Mission Aagaman is a grand success. 🚀🇮🇳

In a beautiful coincidence, today—the day after our launch—marks Skyroot’s eighth anniversary. It started with a simple yet audacious belief that India's private sector could build its own way to orbit. 🚀
From Vikram-S becoming India's first private rocket to reach space in 2022, to Vikram-1 reaching orbit and successfully deploying satellites on its maiden flight in 2026 — every milestone has been carried by one of the youngest teams in the business.
The first eight years took us from a first idea to orbit. The journey from 8 to ∞ is just getting started.

Congratulate @Pvsindhu1 on her historic win over Japan’s #AkaneYamaguchi to lift the Japan Open 2026 women’s singles badminton title, the first Indian to clinch the title. Her flawless performance in the final helped her defeat the home favourite and three-time world champion in straight sets. May she continue her brilliant performance and bring more glory for the country. Best wishes.
The story of how Lord Krishna assumed the form of Jagannath is a deeply moving narration about the overwhelming power of love and the pain of separation. To understand this, we have to look at Krishna’s life in Dwarka. He was a great king, living in unimaginable opulence, surrounded by magnificent palaces, enormous wealth, and His devoted queens, such as Rukmini and Satyabhama. Yet, despite having the entire world at His feet, the queens noticed something mysterious and heartbreaking.
In the middle of the night, while asleep, Krishna would often weep. Tears would stream down His face, and He would call out the names of His childhood friends, the cows, the gopis and especially Radharani. He was dreaming of Vrindavan, the simple cowherd village of His youth. The queens of Dwarka were utterly bewildered. They served Him with perfect royal devotion, yet His heart seemed to belong to simple village girls who had nothing but their pure love to offer.
Desperate to understand this intense attachment, the queens approached Mother Rohini, Balarama’s mother. Because Rohini had lived in Vrindavan with Krishna, she knew the depth of the residents' love for Him. The queens begged her to tell them the stories of Vrindavan so they could understand why Krishna could never let those memories go.
Rohini agreed, but she knew that the love of Vrindavan was incredibly potent. She warned that if Krishna or Balarama heard her descriptions, they would be completely swept away by the memories and lose themselves in ecstasy. To prevent this, she asked Subhadra, the sister of Krishna and Balarama, to stand guard at the door of the palace and ensure that her brothers did not enter while the stories were being told.
As Subhadra stood guard, Rohini began to speak. She described the selfless, unconditional love of the gopis, who would abandon everything just to hear the sound of Krishna’s flute. She described how the residents of Vrindavan felt such an unbearable pain of separation when Krishna left them that their entire existence became nothing but a meditation on Him. The stories were so beautiful and heart-rending that Subhadra herself became completely entranced, losing all awareness of her surroundings.
Because Subhadra was so captivated, she did not notice Krishna and Balarama approaching the door. Seeing their sister standing there, clearly completely absorbed in whatever she was hearing, the two brothers crept up on either side of her and pressed their ears to the door.
As Krishna listened to Rohini describe the agonizing separation the gopis felt without Him, an unimaginable spiritual emotion erupted within His heart. He was struck by a profound realization of their love. The intense heat of this supreme divine ecstasy, known as Mahabhava, began to physically alter His body.
His eyes widened in sheer astonishment and boundless love, becoming huge, circular, and unblinking. His neck sank into His shoulders, and His hands and legs retracted into His body, much like a tortoise pulling its limbs into its shell. The overwhelming emotion literally melted His majestic, royal form into a simple, rounded shape. Balarama and Subhadra, experiencing the exact same wave of intense spiritual emotion, underwent the very same physical transformation.
At that exact moment, the great sage Narada arrived at the palace. Seeing the Lord and His siblings in this strange, contracted, wide-eyed state, Narada was stunned. When the trance finally broke and Krishna returned to His normal form, Narada fell to his knees. He realized he had just witnessed the supreme physical manifestation of God's ecstatic love for His devotees.
Narada pleaded with Krishna, asking Him to manifest this incredible, ecstatic form for the entire world to see, so that all people in the future could witness the form the Lord takes when He is entirely overwhelmed by love. Pleased with Narada’s devotion, Krishna smiled and promised that He would appear in that exact form as Lord Jagannath.
We’ll be watching this ignition on loop all day.

ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

Congratulations to the entire Skyroot Aerospace Team on the successful launch of Vikram-1 (Mission Aagaman) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
The mission marks a significant milestone for India’s private space sector and reflects the growing capability of the country’s space ecosystem.
Congratulations to IN-SPACe and ISRO teams, who enabled and facilitated the launch and ground testing operations along with technical consultancy and 24x7 safety surveillance.
This achievement is also a testament to the Space Sector Reforms envisioned by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
