Day 12 today - had a buddy pop open a can in front of me with no urge to join in.

It just occurred to me that I didn't think about dip for several hours. Spooky.

This isn't the end of week one. It's the beginning of week two.

One week mark is just hours away - and look I'm still breathing and nicotine free. thanks for all the support followers and KTC folks

Today is #6 - it's funny how hard it seems to quit until you do, then its just a daily choice - just like dipping was a daily choice.

Calmer now - a little "foggy" but not too bad. Going to relax tonight with a bucket of balls at the driving range.

Day 5 - today is my first day back in the office without nicotine. Stress is high, patience is short, but I like the burn - no pain no gain

Apparently actually wanting to quit makes it easier. Day 4 and this ain't that bad.

I ate the state of Connecticut out of beef jerky but I didn't touch their overpriced lip cancer cans!

On my way to the end of day 2, not thinking about tomorrow or the next day. Thank God for beef jerky - kept me sane last night at the hotel

Well it's been 24 hours off the mouthmud. So far so good. Even drank some beers tonight with no urge to give in.

I'm going the cold turkey route. I've tried gum, tapering, etc. Never works - it's time to quit for good.
