The Matthew VanDyke (American mercenary with Sons Of Liberty International) module (which included Ukrainian mercenaries) travelled illegally into India's North East. Whence in Mizoram the module crossed the border into Myanmar. The NIA says they proceeded to Camp Victoria a base for Shin insurgents that have ties to India based insurgent groups. The NIA claimed VanDyke and team trained the insurgents and provided them military grade drones. They crossed back into India and were apprehended before they decamped. Now, months later they get a court pass to exit India without consequence.

Trimbakeshwar police have detained three people.The group stopped a two-wheeler, claimed it had a scratch and started a quarrel. Four or five men then demanded cash. The tourists had a local guide and family with them. Residents say such shakedowns of visitors have been reported before.Police took three suspects into custody. Further inquiry and a formal case were expected on the travellers’ complaint.
