@rubenhassid Intelligence can scale with compute but emotion & human connection can't & this is where the premium is. There is so much more to work than just task completion.
Sure some jobs can be fully automated & you won't notice but I believe jobs can evolve to be more human & proactive.
@ab715759562208 @illyism@Cloudflare Unless AI companies plan to embed your forms of monetisation / direct them to your CTAs in the chat interface. Which i highly doubt happening.
In fact, i see them probably going the 'Honey' route and adding their own affiliate links.
@ab715759562208 @illyism@Cloudflare I agree but that's mostly clickbait news slop anyway. Most blogs monetise through digital products, affiliate marketing, physical products, getting email list subscribers (to then sell to later), communities etc.
AI scraping your website prevents any of these transactions. 1/2
@illyism@Cloudflare it's answer presented to the user. Now it may provide me as a source, but let's be honest what % click through to the source when the answer is already in front of them.
What benefit does the creator get in this sequence of events?
@illyism@Cloudflare Since I'm in this AI space i want to learn this model.
Let's say my website is about new novel ways to train your dog. When someone asks AI "How do i train my dog to recall", AI will then scrape the web and come across my new novel ways. It will then use that info within (1/2)
@illyism@Cloudflare IMO Cloudflare are doing right by content creators & business owners by this pay-per-scrape model. It allows compensation, albeit minimal compared to the original business.
@illyism@Cloudflare It's wild you are missing the entire point as someone in SEO. Your expertise is getting people to rank their websites to drive revenue for their business.
If their website is scraped that means no revenue for the business. Whether that be through ads or funnels on their website.
@shaoruu@cursor_ai Ability to lock files to ensure AI remains focused on chosen documents. I like v0 implementation where you can lock all other files with one click, lock / unlock specific files etc.
@harshestcritic5@BrandonButch@Apple I think the fact this is just a press release shows they have more to show and donโt want to bloat WWDC with these features. Features that are impressive in their own right.
I could be wrong though.
@gadzinski_@ryasendesign Appreciate you that thank you! Now I wonโt be so scared of the performance score :) Do you have any idea whether this impacts Google rankings?
@gadzinski_@ryasendesign Thanks for this Iโm new to designing websites in Framer and sometimes the performance score takes a hit - didnโt realise this test operates under the assumption of dial up internet ๐
If the algorithm is tuned correctly views is the ultimate metric that shows a post has value. Likes, comments & reposts are only vanity metrics on the surface. People will still engage in content that interests them.
Much like YouTube - if a video has high views it means a high % of people clicked on it, watched a good portion, maybe even commented & liked the content.
If a post has high views it can be inferred it has a lot of comments, likes, reposts.
