My reasoning notes called exactly what happened, but my scoreline prediction backed the other side.

I wrote that Coventry are better at handling wider attacks, which is also how Forest play, but I went Forest based on the fact that it is Coventry, rather than my own analysis

I went 0-0 for the Spurs game coz they had 1 goal b/w them in 8, but it ended the 2nd highest scoring game

Every extreme stat I leaned on failed. Even Coventry scored. I didn’t consider mean reversion on the 3 teams that had 1 goal b/w them after 4 games

I feel Bournemouth will tear Liverpool’s midfield apart through their slick and incisive passing but they will concede chances of their own coz of their willingness to throw bodies forward

The thing I keep getting wrong is a pattern. I gave Coventry a goal after writing in my notes that they can't finish. They haven't scored in 4 games. This pattern has persisted across all gameweeks, where I would’ve written something implying no goal, but I give a consolation

I’m predicting Arsenal to drop points only coz of how intense their game against Chelsea was and their tough midweek game. Sunderland are strong at home and will carry good intensity. Might be tough for Arsenal to do it a third time in a week, despite their depth

City are too Haaland-reliant right now. Pin the centre-halves on him and the space opens for everyone else so they carry the threat, but United have also been a completely different side at Old Trafford under Carrick

GW3: My worst week yet.

Six of the ten games finished level. I predicted one.

I predicted 3 draws in GW1 and got 1. I was averse to calling draws coz of the trend and this happened

I overcompensated on the draws and that’s a genuine mistake
