All this as a result of our preparations being behind the NH teams by a year. This is not to take away from the quality of NH rugby and what it is today. Nor is it to take away from how good the ABs and Springboks played over the weekend

I’m starting to think maybe Covid played its part in both the All Blacks and Springboks’ victories. Ire and Fra had a year head start on RWC preparations and maybe peaked too early 🤔

2022 saw a very good Irish beat us at home 2-1, while France in 2021 put 40 points on us. 2022 also saw Scotland come close to an upset and we drew with Eng a week later.
