@ApolloRyze take your time, you have a community that will always be there to join you if you need other people for content (pretty much just raids/dungeons) enjoy the game and everything it has to offer as it comes to you, and try absolutely everything
@Bungie Much love to those affected and hoping the best for them. And me deepest vitriol to those who caused such things. A final thank you to the devs who fought tooth and nail for us in the community, your efforts have been felt and appreciated. We will miss you dearly.
@DPermabear@PiggyKropotkinn "hey man why'd you stop going to that restaurant you loved when they changed out their ingredients with dog shit"
"cause now it's dogshit"
"why aren't you eating the doshit! you love that restaurant you should eat their dogshit regardless!"
this is what you sound like.
@ampfy_@DestinyTheGame imma be so dead ass rn. Historically Bungie has fixed bugs regarding weapon perks so you should've expected something like this to happen. Also, materials are easy af to get now unless you're upgrading literally every single drop you get like it's not that deep man
@MightyKeef TLDR of some of the story you've missed. During season of arrivals a bunch of pyramid ships showed up to take away the planets the got sunsetted. Osiris lost his ghost and savathune possessed him and in the season before WQ we got Osiris back by separating sav from her worm
Beware of under-delivery
When you stretch out storylines, drip-feed content, and ask players to pay more while receiving less, you’re sending a clear message: the players come second.
Success isn’t built by maximizing revenue at the expense of your community. It’s built on trust.
The fans who supported your game from the beginning are the reason your franchise exists. Destiny included.
Under-delivering erodes that trust. Brand loyalty takes years to earn and only moments to lose.
Treat your most loyal players well. Surprise them. Reward them. Give them moments like Monument of Triumph that remind them why they fell in love with the game in the first place.
Not everything should be locked behind a paywall. Somewhere along the way, Bungie lost sight of that.
Your developers are not disposable.
Building a world-class team takes years of investment, trust, and experience. Bungie’s developers, artists, writers, and community managers helped create one of gaming’s most beloved franchises.
If accountability is needed, it should start with leadership… not the people doing the work.
Great games aren’t built by constantly tearing down the foundation. They’re built by empowering talented teams, giving them the resources to succeed, and letting them create something special.
When you invest in your people, that’s where the magic happens.
I hope Bungie finds its way.
I want to see the entire team succeed and continue building Destiny for many years to come.
But that will require meaningful changes at the top. The studio needs new leadership and a renewed vision.
The entire leadership team needs to go starting with the studio heads.
Too many mistakes have been made, and the damage to both Destiny and Bungie’s reputation cannot be erased.
The developers, artists, writers, and community teams have shown time and again what they’re talented and capable when given the support and resources to succeed. To build a better Destiny.
Sony leadership needs to recognize that investing in great games isn’t an expense, it’s the foundation of long-term success.
Strong franchises generate value for players, developers, shareholders, and the company itself.
Destiny remains one of the most recognizable live-service franchises in gaming. With the right leadership, the right investment, and a commitment to Destiny, it can continue to thrive for years to come.
The players deserve it. The developers deserve it. And ultimately, it’s in everyone’s best interest for Bungie and Destiny to succeed.
Per Audacia Ad Astra.
@HazeRedux@TyriasRC@Aztecross I find that several hard to believe. The studio not only got massive expansions around witch queen, they also had 4 incubation projects in the works for multiple years with their only money maker being destiny 2.
