@TristenPalori The agent is not owed anything. Not procuring cause and didn't do the work. I have been on the other side and told this and understood. Any reasonable broker knows that if they were in your shoes they would be pissed and not challenge you.

@TristenPalori No way. I always say "having someone represent you is great and you are welcome to do it. I just want to let you know that we will not be able to compensate them for the transaction. So, if they are looking for compensation, you would have to be the one to do so".
