@IndusFarmer Spot on. This wasn’t limited to schools. DTCP approvals for *anything and everything* - houses, commercial buildings, layouts, real estate projects, required money.

Some will claim “there must have been issues with the application.” No. Even when an application was 100% compliant with every norm and regulation, bribes were still demanded through agents and middlemen to move the file forward. The system was structured to create bottlenecks where payment became mandatory. Firsthand experience.

Decentralisation and simplification, as you said, are essential to reduce these opportunities.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் நிதிநிலை பற்றி கடந்த பிப்ரவரி மாத பட்ஜெட்லயே தெளிவா நாங்க சொல்லிட்டோம். அது உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதா? அதுக்குப் பிறகுதான நீங்க பல வாக்குறுதிகளை மக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தீங்க? உங்களுக்கு வாக்களித்த மக்களை மீண்டும் ஏமாற்றி திசைதிருப்பாதீங்க!
