@ThePIENews I have a fully funded Ph.D. admission and my F1 visa application has been stuck in AP for more than 8.5 months. After missing fall 2024/spring 2025 semesters, I still hope that the new administration expedites this process for the Iranian students regardless of our nationality.
@Sahar66664@elonmusk After 246 days of AP, it is really frustrating to keep waiting for a status update and handle the stressful limbo situation for such a long time. I hope the new administration expedites this process and allows us to pursue our studies in the U.S., regardless of our nationality.
@farah69888754@realDonaldTrump@elonmusk@marcorubio My F1 visa has been under AP for 231 days and my fully funded Ph.D. admission is in jeopardy. I request @POTUS and @SecRubio to expedite the Iranian scholars' visa process and allow us to pursue our studies in the U.S. We are no threat to the America and only have academic goals.
@Sahar66664@marcorubio After more than 7 months of AP for my F1 visa, I still put my life on hold and wait for any update.
I hope the new administration expedites this process and allows us to pursue our academic path.
" Iranian younger generation respect and admire America and nothing can change it!"
@KavehMadani Thank you Dr. Madani for you support with this matter. My F1 visa application has also been under AP for more than 7 months and I missed 2 semesters, been disappointed of putting my academic life on hold, and about to lose my fully funded Ph.D. position I worked hard to secure.
@Sahar66664@elonmusk 7 months since my F1 visa interview and still stuck in AP. I sincerely hope this process gets faster and the Iranian students finally get their visas and are allowed to pursue their academic studies and research in the U.S.
@HockbergerPaul@Sahar66664@elonmusk Educated Iranian students do not seek destruction. Instead, we just have academic goals and have nothing to do with politics at all. We believe in freedom and peace, and also respect America just like any decent human being!
@SDunham1960@Sahar66664@elonmusk As a 32 year old Iranian, I always admire westerns for bringing peace and technology and spread everywhere. We are nice people except for a few with loud voices. I believe in peace and condemn any act of terror and violence and proud to be a son of Cyrus, founder of human rights!
@Sahar66664@elonmusk 203 days of AP for my F1 visa application is quite frustrating. I worked hard to secure a fully funded PhD admission and did not even imagine that the visa process will cause such a long delay in my academic life. May the new year bring some positive news to us. Happy new year!
@Sahar66664@elonmusk@iamyesyouareno@MarioNawfal More than 6 months of getting stuck in AP is really frustrating. I hope all Iranian students get their visa and start their academic studies in the U.S. soon.
I also feel sorry for those users who do not understand how disrespectful and inconsiderate they are. God bless them all!
@Sahar66664@StateDept After 195 days of administrative processing for my F1 visa application, I have lost hope to start my Ph.D. soon.
I wish this process gets back to normal for all Iranian students who just intend to pursue their academic studies and research in the great American Universities.
@Sahar66664@SecBlinken@StateDept I have been waiting for U.S. visa status update for 174 days, missed fall 2024 semester and about to miss Spring 2024 semester too(starting from mid January) due to long administrative processing of my visa application. Its a quite frustrating situation!
@StateDept@SecBlinken
