We were thrilled to host Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, a Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalist, at Aspetar today!
She explored our various facilities and world-class medical services.
@rejserin@jk_rowling@SwipeWright She never calls out any of her flying monkeys for racial abuse or her male terf buds for their various shitty things they do against women. All she wants to do is bully people she thinks are less than her using frat boy jokes from the 1990s. Pathetic really. @jk_rowling
@TedMoondust@PaddyKumar3@BJurns48955@CanadaKlr She’s represented by Kotinos Sports.
Using that company’s Qatari money and 🇺🇸connections, they’ll provide platform for Imane to reach higher levels in her boxing career with tournaments outside WB.
IK’s goal is to be the greatest so you’ll soon be seeing her fame rise everywhere
@SPG1411294 @PJBennett18 @SPG1411294
They’d put her on the posters since she’d previously attended and won gold, and was planning to attend.
The registration deadline was last Thursday, which she missed. However,the organisers lobbied WB to still let her participate but WB refused. Because they’re cruel.
@SPG1411294 @PJBennett18 Thanks for outlining the timeline of events. But I’m already aware of the details.
IK failed to register due to the insurmountable pressure of online bullying that she experienced last week, bc WB decided to call her out in their statement.
Yet, the world continues to bully her.
@PJBennett18@DanielSmith_9 When the test results finally come out and show Imane’s female, I’ll hope that you’ll return and apologise to everyone.
I personally think WB will be forced to retract their statement and, instead, refocus on applying correct metrics such as testing testosterone levels.
@PJBennett18@TrpPotichu@TedMoondust@PaddyKumar3@BJurns48955@CanadaKlr Your claim is unproven.
Ps) there’s no need for personal insults.
Btw would it pain you so much in your heart to just refer to Imane as she, rather than he?
Even if you truly think she’s male(which she’s not), she still has female pronouns.
Calling her a he is just unnecessary.
@TedMoondust@PaddyKumar3@BJurns48955@CanadaKlr Ohhhh this is so delicious; I can’t wait until Imane’s next fight.
It will probably be in the US and it will be
*huge* 😀
I’ll be sitting in the front row so I’ll make sure to take a picture there for people like you.
@PaddyKumar3 Oh and for the Eindhoven Boxing Cup:
Algeria has now qualified.
Imane wasn’t needed.
Ishraq Shaib below from Algeria won against Germany in the semi-finals of the 65 kg weight class.
Hopefully Ishraq doesn’t become famous and starts being accused of being a man too.
@TedMoondust@PaddyKumar3@BJurns48955@CanadaKlr You’re mistaken if you believe her career is over.
World boxing only has jurisdiction over amateur boxing events (Olympic boxing is in this category too).
Khelif has spoken many times about moving to professional boxing(which is not overseen by WB).
Her career’s just starting.
@PJBennett18@TrpPotichu Because they see how much bullying Khelif has received over her gender. They’ve probably received the same bullying too their whole lives. So they wish to protect Imane from the same hurt.
That’s why!
This was the video that made me fall in love with Imane Khelif 🥹♥️
You can see how Imane was so scared and vulnerable when Angela Carini started acting up and being unprofessional.
Imane should be protected from the constant hate towards her.
@TedMoondust@PaddyKumar3@BJurns48955@CanadaKlr I know all this.
I probably know more about Imane’s case than most people on Twitter :)
She’s a woman, @TedMoondust.
I hope you’ll find a way to accept the situation and make peace with it.
