Bassem Youssef betreibt keine Satire, sondern missbraucht sie als Deckmantel, um seinem Hass und Verschwörungsdenken freien Lauf zu lassen. Botschafter Ron Prosor bringt es auf den Punkt: „Youssef ist ein Hofnarr der Hamas. Er liefert neuen Treibstoff für den gewalttätigen Antisemitismus auf der Straße.“

Auch die Jüdische Gemeinde und der Antisemitismusbeauftragte des Landes kritisieren seinen geplanten Auftritt in Berlin. Welche roten Linien muss Youssef noch überschreiten, bis Eventim und das Tempodrom diese Veranstaltung in der ohnehin aufgeheizten Stimmung absagen?
