@RScottClark@ReallyOldLife What's it called? Why am I not surprised that you don't know? Really, you need to take your friends' advice and learn to enjoy things other than meat and potatoes. Start with baby steps: fish and seafood. You haven't yet earned the right to enjoy cannolli yet.๐
@meathead But, home baked French bread and cheese make a wonderful meal. Throw in some fresh apple slices, grapes and olives and consider the wasted cheese merely a cost of doing business, unfortunate but inevitable.
@tanpukunokami Smoke a pork shoulder (Boston butt) over hickory wood at 225 degrees until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 203 degrees (F). https://t.co/OJYrTBrW8W
@meathead Boneless chicken thighs with Simon & Garfunkle rub on the grill is a standard at my house. Quick and delicious. I have impressed many friends with that simple dish.
@meathead@_we_love_food I'll be in Chicago in a couple of weeks. Can you recommend your favorite deep dish Chicago pizza joint or other recommended gastronomic destinations?
@meathead@_we_love_food Well, you're the man. If you say it is good, it must be...but, I'm not moving it to the top of my list of culinary destinations. You can't beat the simple toppings, hot Italian sausage, mushrooms, black olives and fresh tomato slices.
@piperthesniper Avoid the United Church of Christ (UCC), the Episcopel Church, the Presbyterian Church USA, the Evangelical Luthern Church of America (ELCA), and the United Methodist Church like the plague.
@piperthesniper Your best bet to find a church with serious Bible teaching would be a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), or Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC).
@piperthesniper Honestly, churches are hit or miss. Listen to the teaching from Ligonier Ministries and find a church that teaches what they teach. https://t.co/uhWUJseaA1 I. .
@tanpukunokami Funny you should ask. I have three racks of spare ribs in the smoker right now. I usually BBQ at least once a month and grill more often than that.
