I want to highlight a community that has been as organic and as real as it gets in CT.

Primos

Primos is a Spanish word for cousins and this is exactly how it feels like to be part of this community, like family.

Primos is a CTO NFT project that a band of friends/community members decided to take over and not let die because of what it’s done for all of us and would like to continue to do for others.

In this community we’ve friends, we’ve helped each other out of dark times, we’ve celebrated each other’s wins and ultimately became Primos.

We focus on one thing and that’s community. Much how Hispanics focus on family and community we do it the same way but you don’t have to be Hispanic to be a Primo. We have all walks of life from all over world.

All these amazing people bring skill sets that help each other and teach other with, from crypto related skills and life skills. Primos has a plethora of amazing resources.

We welcome everyone to this amazing community and treat them like family.

Something that took me a long time to realize, and it seems like common sense now, but hear me out...

You don't need a job in Solana or to treat every event like it's a job fair to be successful in this space.

Just participating in crypto is bullish. You'll learn more by being involved than you will sitting on the sidelines. That's why finding the right community matters. It usually doesn't happen on the first try.

The best communities are the ones you're part of because you genuinely enjoy being there. They don't owe you anything. But supporting people, contributing, and helping make the space better pays off in ways that are hard to measure.

Whether it's the broader @solana community, something niche like @GalacticGeckoSG, a long term conviction play like @ORE, or communities built around fitness like @moonwalkfitness, find your people.

The opportunities will come.

As for jobs, this industry is competitive and changes fast. What's valuable today might not be tomorrow.

People say it's all about who you know... that's valid, but I think it's more about WHO KNOWS YOU.

Build something you care about. Learn in public. Share what you discover. Stay consistent. Most importantly, be yourself.

Authenticity wins.

Don't blend in. Stand for what you believe in, and stand by the people who stand by you.

At the end of the day, we all we got.

Idk who needs to hear this but :

Try being the sole provider working a full-time job that doesn't cover all the bills, building apps without knowing shit about code, trying to be a decent parent to two kids and a present husband, and staying tapped into this space enough to understand the tech and culture.

The time and energy I no longer have to try and make it has been my greatest mental battle.

I say all this so that if you're in your 20s with no responsibilities—hell, age doesn't even matter—if you're only responsible for yourself and not where you want to be, now is the time.

From experience, it just gets harder the more you wait in life.
