La lobby dei balneari, dopo l’aggressione di Torre del Greco, alza ulteriormente il tiro arrivando alle minacce.

Giuseppe Ricci, presidente di ITB Balneari, ha scritto che «se nessuno interviene subito a far smettere le scorribande sulle spiagge di alcuni provocatori, potrebbero accadere o crearsi situazioni di pericolo e disagio per tutti noi» e che «si potrebbe verificare qualcosa di irreparabile. I nostri balneari potrebbero reagire e quando un balneare reagisce fa male».

Questi soggetti si percepiscono davvero padroni del mare, al punto da dichiarare pubblicamente la qualunque pur di difendere i propri interessi contro chi chiede gare, più spiagge libere e controlli.

Voglio rassicurare Ricci e tutti i suoi colleghi: non smetteremo quelle che lui chiama “scorribande sulle spiagge”.

Finché la sua categoria non si adeguerà pienamente alla legalità e alla libera concorrenza, continueremo a esprimere il nostro dissenso e a denunciare gli abusi.

India gave GitHub THREE HOURS to delete BitChat.

By the time the deadline hit, the app was already back. On a network with no company to send the order to.

Here's what happened:

• India orders GitHub to remove BitChat, citing "unlawful communication"
• GitHub has 3 hours to comply or face legal action
• Within hours, a developer mirrors the entire codebase on Radicle
• Radicle has no central server. No company. No CEO to subpoena. No app store to pressure.
• The instructions go out: clone it, seed it, keep it alive
• Every person who seeds it becomes another copy the government can't touch

The part nobody's saying out loud: this is the exact scenario BitChat was built for.

It runs on pure Bluetooth. No internet. No SIM. No phone number. It was already unkillable at the app layer, that's why protesters in Nepal, Iran, and Madagascar used it to route around government shutdowns.

Now the SOURCE CODE is unkillable too.

India didn't delete BitChat. It just handed the entire internet a live demo of why decentralized infrastructure exists.

You can order a company to take something down. You can't order a network that isn't owned by anyone.

Command to mirror it yourself is already public. People are seeding it right now.

Bitcoin does not work because of “trust.". It works because anyone, anywhere, can verify.

You don’t need to trust Mike Novogratz. You don’t need to trust me. You don’t need to trust “the community.”

YOU can run the software yourself. YOU can verify the supply. YOU can verify the rules. YOU can verify every transaction that has ever settled.

That is the entire point of Bitcoin.

It is NOT a shared belief system. It is not dependent on some collective story holding together. It is a monetary network made stronger by every additional individual who independently arrives at the rational conclusion that Bitcoin is the superior form of money.

The “community” is just the secondary effect of that individual discovery process. The primary thing is the verification. That’s what makes it antifragile. That’s what makes it different from every other asset Novogratz ever blew up trading.

Until more tradfi people actually understand this distinction, they’re going to keep reducing Bitcoin to the same trust-based frameworks that failed us in the first place.
