I genuinely don’t understand the logic. Won’t shake hands with a man who stands accused of rape (fair enough) but is a devout follower of a religion founded by a man who slept with a 9 year old child and raped multiple slaves. It will never make sense to me.
This was our last election
This is how we choose our president every five years, using IRIS recognition technology to eliminate any form of electoral fraud, something the United States is still debating whether to introduce in its elections, in a continent where some dictators remain in power until the age of 95, freedom flourishes forever, dictatorship dies in darkness - 1/2. #Somaliland #Africa
Maxay Umal iyoo Mustafe Burcaawi uga hadli waayeen maalintii uu Fiqi Keniisada ugu baryo tagey si aan loo aqoonsan Somaliland.
Maxaa maalintaa xalaal ka dhigay? Malintay Israel aqoonsatey Somaliladna xaaraan ka dhigay? Diintee?

If this had been Somalis doing that to him, the outrage machine would be in overdrive.
Fox News, Elon Musk, JD Vance, Trump — all of them.
But now it’s quiet, because it doesn’t fit the narrative.
Funny how fast the talking stops when the story doesn’t blame Somalis. Silence says more than any headline ever could.
Thank you, Minnesotans ❤️
I don’t condone violence — but I’m not feeling sorry for him either🤡.

The president must immediately shut down the Turkish spy office in Hargeisa.
Actions speak louder than words or condemnation letters.
It’s widely known that #SaudiArabia, alongside #Qatar sponsors terrorist proxies around the world. However they have no official presence in the Republic of #Somaliland, which is why calling for their expulsion unlike turkey is not applicable.
Their appearance alongside the so-called president of the failed state of #Somalia is nothing more than a desperate attempt to seek relevance.
The irony is deafening.
Days ago, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar landed safely in Hargeisa and met Somaliland’s President at the Presidential Palace in the heart of the city—openly, securely, with dignity and respect. Historic.
Today, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi canceled his planned visit to Somalia for security and safety reasons.
One capital hosts world leaders with ease.
The other cannot guarantee safety for a top diplomat.
Who’s the real sovereign state here? https://t.co/eLTm9e1Dlv
Today, at the Presidential Palace, I received
@gidonsaar H.E. Mr. Gideon Sa’ar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, and a high-level delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Somaliland, the first such visit by a foreign minister in 34 years after recognition. I conveyed my deep appreciation to the Government of Israel for its historic and courageous decision of 26 December 2025 to formally recognize the Republic of Somaliland. This milestone reflects a relationship founded on mutual respect and shared interests, aimed at cooperation and stability without prejudice to any party.
I emphasized that this recognition opens a new chapter of formal diplomatic relations, security, economic, and development cooperation, serving the mutual interests of both nations and contributing positively to peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
I also reaffirmed that Somaliland is a reliable and responsible partner, strategically positioned and committed to advancing regional and international peace, security, and constructive engagement.
#Puntland’s Minister of Information, Mohamud Aidid Dirir, has revealed links between the Al-Shabaab terrorist group and senior officials within Somalia’s federal government based in Mogadishu.
Among the notorious individuals named are the Director of the national intelligence of #Somalia @HSNQ_NISA Mahad Mohamed Salad and the Minister of Defence Ahmed Moalim Fiqi.
Both are members of the Muslim Brotherhood's #Somalia branch with a history of violence and brainwashing youth in Mogadishu.
Salad's brother was killed while fighting for Al-Shabaab in central Somalia, however two cousins are currently top commanders of Al-Shabaab.
This is an information that is always kept under the carpet and Somali journalists who report such stories are usually targeted.
The world needs to remain vigilant.
