@TTRRMK Totally makes sense. To get in the pool & an ITA, registrant need only enter 1 year CDN work as MD & CLB 7 x4. No need to get ECA or put in profile. Can provide CDN licence as background doc. As long as foreign exp entered in personal history, no need to list in Work History

@GhostsofIRCC @CitImmCanada has nothing to do with qualifying - officers have consistently refused to restore to simple TR because they believed former WP/SP holders were not legally able to do so - there was no substantive review of whether they qualified

Question: Can someone whose last status was worker or student restore their status directly to visitor, or must they restore both their previous worker or student status as a condition to restore their status to visitor?

Answer: They can restore their status to visitor.

Maintained status and restoration of status is becomming an increasingly complicated area of Canadian immigration law, and there appears to be a lot of inconsistency.
