The live-action One Piece series has to be one of the best, if not the best, anime adaptations ever made.
The sets are incredible, with an attention to detail that really brings the world to life. The tone strikes a perfect balance. It feels darker and more grounded, yet still captures the spirit of the anime. The story feels real and immersive, and the casting is outstanding, especially when it comes to the villains.
Characters like Captain Buggy and Klahadore are fantastic in live action. They feel believable while still staying true to their anime counterparts. Episode 4, in particular, had me on the edge of my seat, largely thanks to the chilling portrayal of Kaya’s butler, Klahadore.
If I had one small gripe, it’s that the voices take a bit of getting used to if you’ve watched the anime. They’re not exact matches, but honestly, they still feel like how these characters would sound in a real-world version.
I highly recommend giving it a try!

@tkgagnon I have a lot of these same cards, but instead of having them in one soft sleeve and one hard protector, I kept them in a binder for 25 years and none of them can get higher than a PSA 7 and most are 6 😞
@JustJJSC@AkademiksTV She did her job as a lawyer, prevent the client from making any unnecessary bad-optics actions i.e. grabbing a weird painting of himself and showing the camera. The media would have loved that.
@TopHeroes_ It would be really cool if the Gorilla in the preview of the Wanderer skin appeared in the combat at some point. Maybe during Illusory Split?
@sciencegirl I told this to my girlfriend once that when we make love our things aren't really touching because of this. She was not turned on by this information.
@MrWhale "We're seeing activity." Activity activity. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. Tell us what you see exactly. Bitcoin wallets are completely public, you can see all incoming transactions and outgoing transactions.
