@the_det_times So in the bottom of the 9th, down by 2 , we attacked them with :
Spencer Torkleson…. .207
Matt Vierling…….. .202 and
Jumani Jones….. .141
They had to be laughing their astros off.
@johnnywharton I’ll never feel the same about Larkin. Being sort of a home town boy, I always thought he was ride or die with the wings. Very disappointed. Get him out of town.
@Castellani2014 Could someone please explain to me , how after last year, and now this year so far, the batting coaches on this team still have their jobs ?? I mean seriously? What’s a guy gotta do to get fired around here ?? Who have they helped ?? WTF ??
@TigersJUK I understand the we needed him to go deep into the game to help the bullpen, but I can’t tell you the last time I’ve seen a manager leave a starter in after he’s given up 10 runs. He’s hangs him out to dry and then doesn’t support him after the game. This one’s one Hinch.
@BradGalli I don’t support throwing at anybody. But why in the hell is Hinch hanging the guy out dry when he obviously doesn’t have his stuff. He’s given up 10 RUNS in 4 innings and he’s still out there ?? I know the bullpen is thin right now, but what the hell ?
@cmccosky Our 2nd baseman, hitting .206, swings at a 3-0 pitch and flies out. I’m going to do something that’s less painful than watching this team, so if anybody needs me I’ll be out in the driveway rolling around in broken glass.
@riger1984 The same exact horrific lineup that had a historic collapse and couldn’t score a run the entire second half of last year, ( With the exception of a 21 year old rookie). Scott Harris did absolutely nothing to fix it. Now we get to suffer through another year. Unreal.
@Miggysbat lol.. The tigers have the same offense that was completely responsible for a historic collapse last year( with the exception of a 21 year old rookie). They look exactly the same as they did then. Scott Harris did nothing.
@TigersJUK After watching most of the 162 Tigers games this year, ( as usual), it been striking to me as I watch the Jays having good, tough ABs,staying alive, and not routinely swinging at terrible pitches, (Of course occasionally). I wasn't looking for it, but it was obvious. Fire coaches
@TigersJUK Tigers batters have stuck out 14 times through 7. Biggest game of the year. Never thought I'd say it, but Im almost glad it's over. These guys are hard to fucking watch.
@johnnywharton Agree completely. Especially since it looks like rookie defensive end Ahmed Hassanien is now possibly out for the year. These windows close quickly. You are spot on.
