Kitten season has started! Kittens do best with their mothers until they are two months old and if you see kittens outside that look clean and fed do not remove them. They have a mother cat nearby taking care of them. Only remove kittens who are sick or injured and need a vet!
Whether you’ve had tons of cats or you’re a first-time feline parent, an older cat might make the perfect member of your fur family. Let’s look at some reasons why older cats rock — and learn how to help ease their transition into your home.

Mikee is so cute! He’s a sweet and talkative little guy who has been here a while. He would love to be a solo cat so he can get all the love 🐈⬛ #CatsOfTwitter
Norman and Pappas are amazing, loving cats who are FIV+. They’ve both been here for over a year and are ready and waiting to get adopted! Norman is a blind and mellow 13 yr old and Pappas is a 5yrold friendly lap cat
Luisa is amazing! We rescued her two weeks ago because she had a broken front leg with the bone exposed. She had surgery and is recovering well. She doesn’t let her cast and cone hold her back in the slightest. She loves making biscuits and rolling over for pets.
This is Pappas! He loves people and is a really mellow, easy-going cat. He also has thinning hair, which makes him look a bit like a werewolf 🐺 #CatsOfTwitter
Welcome Flora to the rescue! She’s six months old and very affectionate. She has a cold right now but once she’s better she will get spayed and be up for adoption! #CatsOfTwitter
This is Bennett! He’s a friendly and confident cat with a laid back personality. He does well with other cats but would fine solo too. If you’re looking for a mellow companion, Bennett would be great! #CatsOfTwitter
Swiffer is the cutest little senior gentleman! He loves going on walks and posing for photos. He would do best in a home with no children or other pets. #dogsoftwitter
