@_vojto Hey Vojto, just came across your transcription app, before commiting, 2 questions I couldn't get from the website/docs: 1. Do you support Chinese? 2. Do you support multilingual meetings - e.g. speakers switching between CN & EN?
@kepano This is lovely! Question: I'm learning a Chinese but the transcript seems to auto-translate to English, I can't seem to find a setting to choose a language, is it already available?
Anecdotal observation from a few GPT-5 interactions - it blabbers a lot off topic and seems to follow the context lot less rigorously than previous models. Kinda annoying when you ask something, expecting previous context-dependent answer but get a general explanation instead..
@jesi_rgb Even more interesting of a question is: how amazing of a classification algorithm are our brains running that we are able to tell this image was GPT generated?!?
This is a neat illustration of why classrooms and teachers will remain the absolute norm for schooling at scale. Children are not consistently motivated as a cohort to learn independently. Itโs madness to believe otherwise.
Education is 90% persuasion, 10% compulsion. Learning is *hard*. Thinking is hard. Intrinsic motivation is an unreliable and scarce fuel. Students need teachers.
AI will never be able to incentivise the unwilling. So, no more nonsense about whether it can replace teachers. Human behaviour trumps every heroically optimistic tech fantasy.
I just talked to the @RevolutApp chatbot for 10 minutes trying to solve my problem - it didn't manage, but damn! Best chatbot experience I had! No repetitive suggestions, actually useful guidance, not overly verbose - well done!
