This is an important part of making our home a better place to ride bikes. Take a few minutes and make yourself heard. Thanks for putting this out there @durhamrcc.
Do you ride a bicycle? Do know people who ride bicycles? Would you like to cycle if it felt safer or more convenient to do so? If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions, we need your help!

Yup... We have people (cars) parking on MUP'S all the time... unfortunately we have very few bollards in DURHAM. Also very few bike Lanes to start with. Lots of Urban Paved Shoulders, where parking cars/trucks is totally legal.
Back to drivers school?

Shame on @TorontoStar for printing this unhinged trash. Rosie Dimanno's @RDiManno angry voice puts cyclists in danger. It emboldens dangerous drivers to see us not as humans who ride bikes but as some monolithic subset of road users who are not worth protecting or respecting.
This years Ride of Silence will take place: this Wednesday May 15, starting at 6:30 pm. Northview Community Centre,
Beatrice St East, Oshawa,
(New start location due to road construction in Oshawa)
We will still ride towards downtown doing a 10 km loop. It's open to all cyclists.
We Service Chris King Hubs!
