Let's say I'm doing 50 in a 30, and I get pulled over by an officer who's gonna issue me a ticket.

What is it that keeps me restrained as a law abiding citizen, and prevents me from simply driving away, refusing the ticket outright, or even becoming non-compliant and fighting with the officer?

Ultimately, it's the threat of force.

It's the glock in condition one, holstered on his belt that encourages me to respect his authority and maintain a civil discourse.

Now I'll ask you the same question about our politicians. What's keeping them from using their positions of influence and power to engage in criminal pursuits, to profit off of treasonous activity and to infringe upon our God given rights in their quest for tyrannical authority.

Ultimately, it's the threat of force.

It's an entire population of heavily armed and proficiently trained minute-men that encourages the state to respect our liberties and maintain integrity in the fulfillment of their duties.

Now you understand the critical importance of an armed people.

If you do not draw your line in the sand at the right to be armed, you cannot draw it anywhere else.

@KeyNyata I try to stop myself if I notice I’m doing it while I’m awake, but my dentist told me she saw evidence of me grinding my teeth in my sleep so she recommended wearing a mouth guard at night so I’ve been wearing one on my bottom teeth while I sleep and it’s been helping.
