@Dippy12821579@MostCrucified@SpinninBackfist They have gloves that have worked since the start of the ufc. They have flaws, and they should be changed. But there’s no real incentive for them to change the gloves.
Especially to pay 100mil.
@MostCrucified@SpinninBackfist The ufc probably wouldn’t make real profit off that’s
100 mill is alot of money either way lol.
At the end of the day it’s a business, and they’re not going to accept a deal that they see as giving negative value
@ChampRDS Weren’t those old/new gloves the ufc used for a few months before Jon and stipe fought super similar to Trevor’s gloves?
Then bones said nah I’m not wearing those lol
@FREAKMMA1 What? Lol
He’s one of the most entertaining fighters ever but wtf is he talking about.
The most replayed highlight involving him is Holloways KO.
@Lvufc2023@Combat_Casuals Dude hammerfisted tai in the back of the head while they were both standing lol, like you gotta be doing shit like that on purpose
@FBARGUM3NTS@combat_insider Hokit said something like this last night, it’s where he’s most comfortable. There’s no reason to add that extra weight, Alex will have the power either way and his chin has never been terrible (maybe at 85 it wasn’t good) but his style just has no defense lol
@FBARGUM3NTS@combat_insider He needs to take some time off to get properly adjusted to the weight. He took alot of damage so hopefully we can shake it’s at least a 6 month turnaround (who knows though bc he came back quick after Izzy)
@crochunt01@HappyPunch I actually agree. Who knows with Alex though, he looked terrible vs ank than came out in the second fight and scorched him.
Even jones probably gained too much weight when he initially went up and lost a lot of it. I assume Alex walks around at 235-240 anyways
@wadepowellrkid@THATBOYMMAGURU People say this about every gane fight, between eye pokes and back of the head shots. This Alex fight is probably one of the more less notable times imo, just because Alex was basically giving him the back of his head
