The ImPCT engine provides intelligence on players through the use of ML in the form of 4 metrics:
1) Player Value: Complete value of player
2) Player Value (Adj.): Quality of player in his role
3) Game Impact: Importance of the player's role
4) Over 1P: Ratio of positive GP.
One extremely effective player defensively this year in the #NHL has been #Pens John Marino. He Predicts game wins close to 70% of his GP and ranks 1st as our top shut down d-men so far this season, jumping between a 1st pair/ 2nd pair of Defensive deployment.
One interesting prospect for the upcoming #NHLDraft is Tucker Robertson of the OHL Peterborough Petes. Robertson stands out offensively at a very high deployment level, but shows poor defensive numbers, possibly reflective of the entire team's defensive performance. #OHL.
Nathan Gaucher, who was ranked as the top QMJHL draft eligible forward by the CSS, is an incredibly well-rounded power forward.
His ability to drive transitions, dominate physical plays and shut down opponents defensively make him a potential 1st rounder for the #2022NHLDraft🏒
Today's QMJHL Profile: Nathan Gaucher. He plays an impressively balanced game, both defensively and offensively. Predicts a game win 60% of GP playing at an over average deployment level. #QMJHL#NHLDraft2022.

Breakout Candidate #2: Cody Glass. Played well as a depth piece on a stacked Vegas team. He was deployed more offensively and matched with above average performances. This could be the year he cracks the top 6 with the #Preds!
Breakout Player #1: With the 21-22 season fast approaching, we're covering a few players we feel could breakout this year. Logan Stanley played an excellent depth role with the #NHLJets last season. Played strong Defense and at 23y/o we wish Jets fans he takes that next step #NHL

Our updated roster value chart for the #Habs. Based on 2020-2021 season. Lots of movement on the roster. We find Merrill's value is a bit high based on his output with Detroit, his performance decreased after he was traded to MTL.
Our analysis of P.K. Subban: Played as a highly deployed D last season and gave some terrible outputs at that deployment level. Was very inconsistent. He could however be a good option at a better deployment level; 2nd or 3rd pairing D.
