@RealHickory True, and not...
The SAVE America Act does not include local elections, like Mayor or Governor, or tell a State how long they have to count votes.
It's for federal elections and registering to vote.
It does not even cover those registered, and voting now.
Intentional.
To be clear, I don't live in California, and don't give a shit who they elect.
My philosophy has always been States must elect their own leaders AND elect those who compose Congress.
We live in a society that makes every vote in every State everyone's business.
That leads to corruption, through donations AND votes.
While I think each State needs to conduct their elections without ANY outside interference, even from other States, and ESPECIALLY from the DNC and RNC in DC, California has a corruption problem.
Votes can't be counted over days or weeks.
PERIOD.
@SenRandPaul Cut mandatory spending.
This post is pure bullshit, you voted against the OBBB, which cut spending overall by over $1 trillion over 10 years.
You're full of shit.
Finally!
This is correct. Thune got elected because he handed out favors and committee assignments and leadership roles that go away if he gets removed.
If you think Republican Senate Leadership, ALL OF IT, isn't a problem, you have not been paying attention.
👇
We need to hold every single Senate Republican responsible for what Senator John Thune is doing to aid the radical Democrats in running out the clock.
No excuses. They all own this betrayal!
This guy, pinecone Massie, will tell you he is all about the Constitution while ignoring it.
Congress can declare war. That's it.
The Executive Branch came make war.
Why is this complete idiot trying to go against the Constitution?
Simple, to give the swamp(Congress) more power.
Congress does not have the power to tell the Executive Branch to 'end the war'.
You can declare war, or not
That's it
Only the Executive Branch can make war.
The Iran War Powers Resolution that I cosponsored (opposing the war) just passed the House of Representatives.
The People’s House is sending a message: end this war.
@RepThomasMassie Congress does not have the power to tell the Executive Branch to 'end the war'.

False.
Prevention IS the answer, and after last year, Republicans have given up on it.
Early this year, Republicans planned on another $1.8 trillion in mandatory spending cuts. That plan got thrown out to fund ICE and Border Patrol in Reconciliation.
They could have done the cuts AND funded ICE and Border Patrol, it would have just taken longer.
What's next for Reconciliation?
More mandatory cuts?
No.
Speaker Johnson plans on funding for the Save America Act. All the money, no law.
You think cutting mandatory spending wouldn't prevent fraud, theft, and corruption?
The Federal Government takes in $5 trillion yearly.
Mandatory spending is $4 trillion yearly.
Interest on the debt is $1 trillion yearly.
Republicans are turning the Reconciliatiin process into another appropriation tool, and that will lead to bankruptcy for America.
If you don't believe me yet, put all your money in a bucket in your front yard.
Let me know how long that money sits there without someone trying to grab it.
Every year, half a trillion dollars is burned up and wasted because fraudsters and scammers are involved. That's $4,000 per American household every year totally wasted.
Republicans in Congress are tirelessly working on this to restore accountability and get our nation's fiscal house back in order because that's what people demand and deserve.
False.

Senate Republicans increased and made permanent the standard deduction for joint filers, a benefit claimed by 90% of taxpayers.
Americans received a $3,750 average tax cut in 2026 as a result.
@SenateGOP Senate Republicans are still running on the OBBB, while refusing to pass the Save America Act, or compensate Americans who were persecuted by the DOJ.
