@TemporeEtSpatio Ma'am. Well, she wasn't sure she liked that. She didn't have time to ponder that too much though, because Saiorse had just taken a chunk out of her arm.
She yelped and snatched her arm back, blinking at the other woman as she hissed at the sharp sting. Christ, she had needle -
@TemporeEtSpatio "Not allowed...?" She cocked her head, a little baffled by that comment.
"Well," she inhaled a slow breath then lifted her shoulders in a shrug. "I'm not sure if I can make you change your opinion of me, but I accept your apology and I appreciate your bravery for doing it."
@TemporeEtSpatio "You, Saiorse, are unique. There's only one you in the entire universe. He won't regret making you, the exact opposite actually. You're the one thing, the one person, that fully understands him."
She paused for a moment.
"You want to know why he won't look at you? Ask him."
@TemporeEtSpatio She shook her head again, slowly.
"I've met all his faces, every one he's ever worn. And I know that sometimes he struggles, he struggles so much with emotion, but he isn't cruel."
She exhaled and lifted a shoulder in a shrug.
"And I suppose, technically, I shouldn't have -
@TemporeEtSpatio regrets creating you..." She paused for a moment to give the other woman time to do just that, to think about it.
"Does that sound like the man you know? You know him probably better than anyone, certainly better than me. And even in his darkest hour that isn't him."
@TemporeEtSpatio "I realised that a while ago, since we're being honest."
Clara told her, watching her for a long moment before she spoke. She had to be delicate about this, but it was incredibly important.
"Think about what you've just said, really, properly think about it. You think he -
@TemporeEtSpatio seat, cocking her head and arching her brow at the apology. She hadn't exactly expected /that/. But she was open to it.
"Alright. Apology accepted."
She paused for a moment then exhaled a tiny breath.
"It came at the wrong time, you realise that don't you? That's why he was -
@TemporeEtSpatio "Hello," she greeted, turning in her chair and gesturing for Saiorse to join her in the empty seat opposite, a cosy armchair by the fire. "Of course."
@TemporeEtSpatio sleeping, still wasn't quite up to getting a full night's rest just yet, but she wasn't expecting a visitor. The Doctor was sleeping she knew and Saiorse had locked herself away for the past few days. She blinked and looked up from the book she'd been flicking through.
