WIN 4 tkts to 7.30pm @orderoftheimprov show 30th Oct in Ldon for you & 3 guests PLUS a drink each! Simply like/ share/ tag s'one who would enjoy a night of v. un-canon stories, dodgy accents & laughs with @thejamespayton (HP's Frank Longbottom) & @whereswalles (FB's Auror No. 10)
The v. silly @MrJamesPayton pimping out devised show @ImprovOrder at @HenandChicksN1 on 3rd July...Improv (sort of) loosely based on the Potterverse (sort of) by James & @WheresWalles who together make me laugh more than clients should. Kid friendly show 3pm, filthy show 7.30pm
Tried to think about this sort of thing early 2020.....
But it took a global Pandemic and OrangeBox Theatre Group to make it happen. Two shows of @ImprovOrder at the Hen and Chickens Theatre this Summer with @WheresWalles and @MrJamesPayton#improv#HarryPotter
To those shouting 'poor kids don't usually get meal vouchers over the summer holidays'
1. They should
2. These are far from usual times
3. Why are you leaping in to argue that kids should go hungry?
The people arguing that hungry British children should be denied help in the school holidays seem to be *exactly the same people* that argue we should 'help our own' instead of sending money to countries suffering from famine.
I'm beginning to think they're not very honest.
My parents were on disability benefits - my father had osteoarthritis. By feeding me, the state saved itself more money than by treating me for malnutrition in hospital. And now, I pay back more in tax than we ever got in benefits. Food for children is quite a small investment.
