@SageFrancis I'm really not sure twitter is a place to be nuanced about this, because it will immediately turn into one of those vitriolic internet things, and that's the last thing I want, reality is too heartbreaking already. but happy to dm or something if that helps

I should say my views would be considered very left wing here, and have been protesting our extremist awful current government's policies and Netanyahu for a long time now. What is happening is a fucking tragedy but not a genocide.

@KBSquared4 @jodyrosen Good tip. Think we'll try that big building with the Hamas logo on top. I'll ask only for the specific 2000+ perpetrators though. And then, obviously, jail our prime minister for passing funds to the elected government in Gaza. I'll pass it on.

@jodyrosen I guess my point was that the horrors of this week were not about a response to the injustice of Israeli occupation, but a much more primal hatred of our people. And there's no reason to dunk on anyone who'd like to call it out publicly. its not a distraction, its the point.
