The @ParliamentZim Portfolio Committee on Justice, Legal & Parliamentary Affairs continues with its nationwide children’s consultations on the Child Justice Bill (CJB) [H.B. 11, 2021].

@CALR_ signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe yesterday, 31-03-2022. The MOU will strengthen efforts regarding the application of applied legal research to pressing components hindering the effective delivery of justice.

Day 3: Electoral Amendment Bill Writeshop

The @ImtZimbabwe has an ongoing writeshop & has invited stakeholders to come up with an amended Electoral Bill that aligns with the Constitution.

The @ImtZimbabwe is currently holding a drafting workshop (writeshop) on the alignment of the Electoral Act with the Constitution. The drafting workshop is running from the 13th to the 16th of December in Mutare.

- installation and resuscitation of chiefs
- Constitutional functions of chiefs

The @ImtZimbabwe , @MoJLPA & the Ministry of Local Governance and Public Works & invited stakeholders are peer reviewing the draft Traditional Leaders Amendment Bill to ensure its conformity with the Constitution of Zimbabwe

The @ImtZimbabwe working in partnership with the @MoJLPA & the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works is currently holding a 4 day writeshop (drafting workshop) on the alignment of the Traditional Leaders Act with the Constitution.
