I wonder if people are aware of how hypocritical they are, and the cost of their hypocrisy.

I hear and see people’s reactions to what’s going on in Gaza, the deaths of innocent people in a war, and I understand it. Any death of an innocent person is tragic and horrific.

The war has been going on almost 3 years, innocent people are dead, and people are angry and upset.

Calling for international interventions, sanctions, boycotts, arrests - even the destruction of a state.

Now think back 3 years. Oct. 7, 2023. 1200 innocent people massacred. Countless women raped. Gang-raped. While alive. And dead. 250 kidnapped. While alive. And dead. Intentionally killed.

Were you upset that day?

Were you angry that day?

Were you calling for international interventions? Arrests? Sanctions?

What if you had?

What if you had demanded countries stop sending money to the territory?

What if you had demanded the arrests of all those responsible for that day?

What if you had demanded the hostages be immediately released?

What if you had demanded your country help Israel remove Hamas from power?

What if your anger for the innocent people murdered that day, was as great as it is for the innocent people killed since that day?

What if you had spoken for those people, the way you speak for these people?

What if everybody had?

What if everybody had used their voice against the devil and darkness that struck our world on Oct 7, 2023?

Our countries would have listened.

Our countries would have acted.

Hamas would have been removed from power.

And so many of those innocent people who have been killed in the war, would still be alive.

If only you cared as much about the innocent people murdered on Oct 7, as you do for the innocent people killed since then.

If only you weren’t a hypocrite.

If only the lives of Israelis and Jews mattered to you as much of the lives of everyone else.

Your hate has a cost.

It doesn’t come for free.

This time, the cost was the lives of innocent people in Gaza who have been killed in the war.
